Alex Khalil for
US Senate
Community,
Compassion, Justice,
and Prosperity for all Pennsylvanians
A Marshall plan for all Americans.
Alex's platform is centered around community and the well-being of all Pennsylvanians. GDP is the only measure that leaders in Washington and Pennsylvania care about. Meanwhile, millions of Pennsylvanians struggle. Alex will go to Washington with one focus in mind - the people of Pennsylvania.
Food and Agriculture
Feeding every Pennsylvanian and repairing our agricultural system so that our family farms are regenerative, sustainable, organic, and climate-friendly.
Education
Uplifting all of Pennsylvania’s children through high quality, safe, and inclusive education and harnessing the skills of our teachers and education workers and building modern schools.
Healthcare
Defending healthcare as a human right, to ensure that no one struggles to afford prescription drugs, mental health care, or any tools they need to live healthy, happy lives.
Economy
Securing overdue economic justice by growing jobs, supporting small businesses, ensuring safe and stable housing, and raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour so that no family struggles.
Environment
Prioritizing environmental justice through supporting the Green New Deal, modernizing infrastructure, partnering with and respecting Native American land rights, remediating environmentally decimated lands, demanding responsibility of major companies responsible for the degradation of our planet, ensuring worker safety and rights, and recognizing and remedying our environmental failures and building on our victories.
Criminal Justice
Ending unjust and antiquated practices in our criminal justice system and untangling its complex web by supporting our public defenders, holding law enforcement and District Attorneys responsible for their biases by supporting and reshaping legislation to eliminate the violent and inequitable treatment of every Pennsylvanian, regardless of their economic background, race, religion, gender identity, or ethnic background.
Human Rights
Demanding the acknowledgment and adherence to basic human rights globally, through progressive foreign policy that condemns racism, xenophobia, homophobia, white supremacy and related terrorist organizations, and religious bias and hatred.
